The photos are usually The Point. Most first lessons start on the softer beachbreak inside the bay.

Spots

  • Lagundri beachbreak. Inside the bay. Smaller. First stands, or when The Point is too heavy.
  • Inside corner. More wall, still protected. A lot of intermediate time is spent here.
  • The Point. The long right. Crowded when it is on. For people who already surf reef.

Season

More consistent swell from about April to October. November to March can work, often smaller. We will tell you if your dates fit your level.

Getting here

Fly to Binaka (GNS), then road south to Lagundri / Sorake, a few hours. Free pickup from your hotel or guesthouse around the bay. Write the name on WhatsApp or email. Airport transfer the same way.

Lineup

It is a local wave with visiting surfers. A lesson is not a pass to the front. We coach waiting, then taking your wave.
